Overview
One of the most popular boat dives from Portland, this submarine is an official War Grave. She was built in 1918 as a K-boat and in 1927 she was converted to carry a light sea plane in a hangar in front of the conning tower. It is generally accepted that she sank after diving with the hangar doors open (as they are today). The M2 is not far west round the Bill, is about 300ft and all hands were lost on her when she sank in January 1932. She rests upright in the water and is intact so you can start off lower down, work your way up to the hangar and conning tower and launch your DSMB from the top of the tower around 18m
- If you are planning on booking multiple dives on the day, please be advised that this dive has a minimum turn around time of 3.5 hour(s). Please be sure to leave enough time between dives
