Durdle Door

Overview

A fantastic reef dive around the famous Durdle Door arch. If conditions are right it’s possible to start the dive in Lulworth Cove and swim under the arch. Lots of life in the rocky reef and fairly sheltered from waves and currents underwater by the bank of rock below the surface. Lobsters, crabs and and dogfish are common here. Currents can take you in either direction, so experience of diving with a deployed SMB is essential for this dive. Ask about training if you’ve not done this before.
